Holy crap you go through a lot of cars, lol. No point in even modding if you plan on trading them in every year.

I love my car, people know me for my car, and as much money as I've dropped in it, I plan on keeping it for at least another year. Really, there isn't any other cars within what I could afford that I'd rather have. I'd love to have a new Ralliart Galant, but they're too pricey. Or a used Mazdaspeed Miata, but RWD is a no no for a daily driver so I dunno.....I was thinking about selling it, but I just couldn't do it.

My SS is here to stay, at least for another year or more!

Figured i'd step in and revive this all but dead thread.

Anyone still going on the 18th? Haven't seen any action on this thread for a while.

While we're on the topic of keeping and selling, I plan on keeping mine, at least another year. Got a few more plans for it before I consider selling. By spring i'll be rocking the Progress sway bar, Prothane tranny mount inserts (front/rear), the CA steering column mount gauge pod, an Aeroforce interceptor gauge and i'll be HP Tuned w/ stock LSJ injectors. After I do all that, miles permitting, i'll see if im as happy as my car as I plan to be. I love my car now, but other than the 19"s, the last thing I did to it was the Powerslots/Hawks. Thing is, when I bought my car last year in Oct. '06, I jumped in and did everything right away. From Oct-December I has already installed the AEM CAI, Ingalls ETD, CA header, XTC de-cat downpipe, ARK N2 cat-back, DC Sports strut bar and the TWM shifter. A few months later I did my brakes, and since then i've just bought two sets of wheels. Im thinkin these next few mods will def help me hold my interest in my car, even with the miles im piling on. The car is a daily driver though, so its what I expected when I bought it. So as of right now, I plan to keep piling on the mods.........and miles!

Thanks, but I already have a set. I've had them for a long ass time now actually. Got them from Dervin3 at Pro Motion Tuning a while back when a couple SS/SC guys met up w/ Doc for tuning.

Just finding the time and money, and most importantly, the RIGHT person to tune this car with HP Tuners has been an issue. I finally found someone to tune it though. (GTP had his 2.4 tuned by his friend Dan with great success, so he's gonna tune mine on a dyno up in PA when I get the time and money) But eventually i'll take them out of their box, blow the dust off, and install them bad boys in my car with a proper tune to go along with it.

Not yet. My wallet got stolen, so I had to sort things out at the DMV and my bank. Also, I tried to drive as little as possible as I had no debit card or cash, and no licence temporarily. That kept me from really going anywhere last weekend. I should be able to this Sat thought as I have everyything back now. Won't be able to on Sun as I'm having lunch with my dad who's coming up from SC, and after that going to Imports VS Domestics up at MIR.

Ah, damn! On one end, tell the girl congrats.

On the other end, no more riding buddy back from the meets, and one less yellow SS we'll have repping Northern VA.

And just think, you never got to see the acclaimed 19"s in person, lol.

Best of luck bro! Bundle up b/c Colorado is cooooold!.

Just talked to my boy that works at Tweeter's. As long as it is under 30 cars we are cool to use the lot on the side of their building. He also said they were having a private sale for past customers but we were invited in to check it out as well. If for some reason the property management or the police shall stop and ask us to break it up then we would have to move. But should be a go. I will need to for sure if this is what everyone will want to do so I can let them know.
