hey guys, i wanted to start a new thread on trying to get a cruise organized. maybe even like a full day event... go out and do something for fun (and eat) on a saturday or something, then go cruising that afternoon... how many people would be interested in doing this?

i live in cinci, i oculd help out with the planning a little, but we need someone from dayton to come up with ideas for things that are available to do and where to go cruisin' at

 

We are hoping to have one at the end of August or beginning of September in NE Ohio as well. I need help planning

 

what about one big ass meet on laborday weekend or something? maybe have it in a centralized area for everyone

It's a bit north for the Cincinatti people but might I suggest having a meet at the Norwalk Raceway on one of the wednesday nights where the track is open to everyone. Admission is $12 wheter you race or not and ladies get in fro free.
On the other hand I wouldn't mind a meet in the Dayton area cause I used to live there a couple times. (Centerville and Springboro)

Norwalk has test and tune on Friday nights also. I think it's the same amount to get in. maybe $15.00.

 

i'm all for a meet. i live in the dayotn area so pretty much anywhere's fine for me as long as it's not cleveland..thats a nice 4 hour drive or so lol

would you guys be interestedin helping a fellow cobaltss.net member in dayton to put a suspension kit on his car? i am offering my help to him so i can get some experience with the cobalts before i drop mine. that would be cool to do a small meet or something, help him out and go for a cruise that night or something

 

I live in chicago...or near it...But I'm from columbus ohio and my old roomate still lives there so that'd be awesome...Any 3 day weekend would be insane to do, but I'll try to make a big meet...Just don't want to travel 8-9 hours for something were there are what like 4 cars :P!!! lol

i've had no time to get anything together. i will have a weekend off this month, but i am probably going back down to kentucky for the somernites cruise on the 21st-22nd

hey woodio i see you're right up the road from me, we should meet up sometime. i'm starting to see a bunch more ss' here in cincy, i know of 4 other ones besides mine now, but i haven't been able to meet any of them yet. my red one, another one, a yellow, a blue and a black one and more redlines are popping up as well. i know there are atleast three of them.

 

I mostly hang around Lebanon and Middletown.

 

We really need to get something together before the winter and the ugly rims go on!! I think if we set a date for it then people will fit it into there schedules. I am dying to meet someone else with an SS/SC other than mine. Hope to see you guys soon!!!
