possible meet and cruise?
If you're from anywhere near indy, check out jms's indy meets thread. He's always at meets in castleton with random tuners and he's tryin to get some balts involved. I'm goin again tomorrow night
If my car gets running again in time (new 3.0 stroker going in hopefully the end of the week). Mazda's motor went kaput, so I am putting a rebuilt 3.0L that is stroked 7% over stock with custom camshafts, crank, and new Wiseco pistons. Not more than 20 more whp, but it'll withstand my foot and make a ton more power if I ever decided to go forced induction. I think it takes it from 183cid to 195cid or about a 3.2L V6.
If I can get it going, then I will try to join in your cruise if you happen to hit Ohio. Here in SE Ohio, the country roads are beautiful this time of year and have some great twisties. Here are some links to roads less than 30 miles from here that are AMAZING to drive.
Wayne National Forest Run: Ohio Motorcycle Rides
Scenic Route 664, from Route 256 to Route 56: Ohio Motorcycle Rides
Ohio's Dragon Tail: Ohio Motorcycle Rides
The whole site is great for finding roads anywhere at all. You could set up several days of cruising in SE Ohio alone. I find the Dragon's tail the best. The 664 run is near to a couple of us and full of antique cars. There is also the Amish COuntry runs through Holmes county, the Muskingum river/New Concord trip, and much more.
