Yea took me a hour to dig my car out. The snow drifts went under my car, I had to dig out underneath it. My car wouldnt even budge before I dug it out. Just waiting for this snow emergency to drop so I can go to work. lol

Here in Arlington heights

over 22" fell in elk grove just a little south of me. Crazy wind though, last night going over a bridge by my house next to a field in my Geo tracker i had the wheel turn right slightly due to the wind and still was blown halfway into the other lane.

You don't ever need to unless it's legit ice, like in this case. Most of the time I don't bother.

I flip my wipers up out of routine, you park your car w/a warm defrosted windshield. Park it & it snows wipers are most likely gonna stick to the glass from snow melting on warm glass then freezing causeing the bond between the glass & your wipers. I do this just to avoid waiting for the defrost to warm them up enough to break loose or you could softly hit the blades w/your snow brush to break them loose. Just my opinion of what I do evertime I park a vehicle during the winter season, takes 5 seconds instead of 5-10minutes if you were to wait for defrost to do its job
BTW Winter Blows.............................
