I met a guy at HIN this year with a laser blue SS/SC with considerable work done to it who didnt even know what a forum in general was. I told him about css.net, but he didnt really seem interested. Owell, his loss.
Those are 18"s believe it or not. I had the same problem on my 2.4SS when I put aftermarket 18"s on it. (Enkei WDMs) The stock 17"s look just a big really b/c of the lip on the 18"s. More lip = shorter spokes, creating the illusion of a smaller wheel. I got fed up with my 18"s looking so small, so I sold them and bought some 19" Axis Mods. They have a lip, but its a rolled lip, so its deep, but the lip itself isnt very tall, leaving the spokes looking much longer. Plus, that extra 1" really helped. Im 110% satisfied w/ the way the 19"s look. They are also a .5" wider than the 18"s I had, and have a better offset, so they are pretty much completely flush with the fenders, and the overall diamater (even w/ the 35 profile tire) is a tad bigger than the 18"s (w/ a 40 profile tire), so that combined with the sportlines took care of any and all fender gap.
btw, I read your thread about the wrecked balt. That sucks man, good to see your alright. Is another SS/SC in the works? Last year for the SS/SC, so get another while you can! If not, may I reccomend the new Caliber SRT-4? The looks of it arent for everyone, but damn that things gonna be sick!
