i am looking for someone around town for an install and tune of my stage two. i just got the kit and dying to get it put in. didnt know if anyone around here knew of someone who could get it installed and tuned as i dont have any time to do it myself. i have been working crazy hours and just cant wait to do it myself. any info helps!! thanks.

 

does that mean you'll be lendin your car to someone install and tune? or doin this at your house? avon doesn't have too many options for the open road safely. i'm from pittsboro. i could help install just don't have capability to tune. wicked could do it if he came up from cincy. that's all i really know of in indy.

 

Isn't wicked going to be going bowling on the 13th here in indy for the winter meet...

Might want to check with him and see if he would be willing to tune.

 

Yeah wickedss will be here next week a the meet...I also have a buddy naje Tyler that does tuning from the shelbyville area...let me know and ill see if i cant get him to shoot u a good deal...

 

ok maybe a dumb question but if i install it prior to getting wicked to tune, how bad does that hurt? shouldnt really drive without it tuned right? i have no prob installing myself, just not alot of time. thanks again!

 

As long as you put the stuff on and dont drive it hard till u get here for wickedss to tune it u should be ok...

 

ya what dustin is sayin is stay out of boost and it should work just fine for a couple of days.

 

tom said you can do the pulley, but you need to leave the injectors off till you get tuned.

 

I'd be interested in a tune as well if "wickedss" has the time. I won't be able to get to the meet as I'll be doing the install during the day up at Hare Chevy on the very far north side. WickedSS -- if you see this and would be willing, PM me. I'll make it worth your time.

I will def. try and make it to one of these meets to meet everyone. Of course, this time of the year I'm pretty busy with the family and trying to make the fiancee happy.

 

For the SS/SC, it's fine to drive a couple days (weeks, months even) on just a 3.0 pulley. But leave the injectors til you get tuned.

Just an FYI, anyone wanting tuned please PM me so we an set up time/place/payment. So that I can manage my time and plan our day, I'm now asking a deposit before the planned day of tuning. Especially for 2008+ cobalts or any other model as credits need bought before I leave home.
