Hey Tom, what was that ZR-1 inspired supercharger called? I'm thinking about buying an LSJ and starting to build a 350 horse beast engine. I can get a used engine to rebuild without the charger for about 800 dollars, **** YEAH, my little LS will dominate you all hahahahhaahahaha. I'm thinking new pistons, 60# injectors, 2.7" pulley, CAI, 3" exhaust, I'm guessing I'll have to change my tranny and driveshafts? but it'll be worth it to make the sleeper cobalt from HELL!! what do you guys think? How much does the methanol kit go for?

Eaton TVS.... aka Harrop-lsj1320. But it's not actually "inspired" by the ZR-1. The ZR-1 uses the same concept that Eaton developed for it's newest gen blowers but also the inlet is on the same side as the pulley snout on the ZR-1's TVS. It's a new concept as well, but works for tight spaces.

Ok... I got off on a tangent there. Sorry.

You'll need a return-style fuel system as well unless you go for 79# injectors if you do put a 2.7 on the TVS. Start with the 80mm (3.1) pulley that comes with the TVS and build up. You'll need a front mount h/e like the CX Racing one as well. Meth kits start at $169 and go all the way up to $500+. All depends on company and kit you choose. But get a trunk mount kit, not one that taps into the washer tank. Much easier to control what's left and monitor.

Looks like if i pull through second I get a 10.8 now and if i wind on into 3rd it gets a 10.4 by about 5500 and then backs off to a 10.6-8 by redline.

I figured, I'd get the stage 3 kit which comes with a PCM for the LSJ that would be easily tunable and able to take a N2O shot as well. What do you think? JBP sells a short block capable of 400 hp for 2,700 bucks. That just doesn't come with the supercharger right?

I'm guessing it will take about 5 grand to get 350 horses out of her and run well, but it'll be worth it in the end. Will definitely be a killer sleeper, they'll still hear the supercharger, but they'll just think it's a m62 strapped to a 2.2l, bad for them. Gonna take me a few months to piece everything together. Then I've gotta do intake and exhaust. Hey Jimmy, how did you do your exhaust again? U said it was custom, I'm guessing buying pipe and a muffler is probably the cheapeast, loudest, and least restricted way to go.

I think we need another meet

I cant think of the name of the place but their is a indoor go cart track and from what I'm told the carts are so fast (45mph)you have to go through a safety course

Or if thats too expensive we could go bowling/duck pin bowling....

I just think we should keep the good times going, no need for winter to give us the blues.. let me know and maybe sometime in december we could get together again!

*hint hint* Crate Engine Depot Meet November 22nd.^^
We've got an indoor track like that up here too, freakin awesome I keep wanting to go run one. My friend and some buddies did a 200 lap endurance race there two weeks ago.
