VA meet time!!!!

Me and 2fastSS have been talking about getting a meet going. No set dates......we were thinking sometime between April and June. We want a BIG turnout this time around. Thats why we're gonna plan way ahead, and hope no one backs out like they usually do, lol. Anywho, we've been throwing ideas around. I'm game for just about anywhere, but heres some towns i've been thinking about: Fairfax, Woodbridge and Manassas. All are easy to get to off of major highways and well known. I was thinking Fair Oaks shopping mall would be AWESOME!!! MASSIVE parking lot all the way around the mall, and we can do a photoshoot on top of the parking garage! But like I said, no date and no set location.......so all you VA guys (and MD guys too!) start chiming in and lets get the ball rolling!

It'd be cool with me. Got any ideas on locations? Skyline Drive maybe?

Im not familiar with the mountains around here being I got here in July. I could look around though. Give this thread time and others will chime in with good locations in the mtns if thats alright with everyone. Only thing is it takes some time and dedication as well as more money then the typical one day meet.

Also, Im open to other ideas as well. It doesnt have to be the mountains. Id would just be a better meet if it was more then, meeting in a parking lot, talking, going somewhere to eat (which I have nothing against, lol) then leaving. The weather should be prestine late april til june. A good cruise would be awesome then with the sunroof back and windows down

Same here. I tried to pull that F-burg meet together.....and then like 50% of the people backed out. Owell, we had a good group at least with SSON20's, Stouffer, Pieeater, etc etc.

Cool. It sounds like alot of fun, but like you said........7 hours is just CRAZY for a meet. I'd drive 700 hours for like a meet with like 500 Cobalts, lol.

I would be down for a date later in May or June. I have too much stuff going on in. April and the beginning of May.

The mountain drive sounds great! I'd be up for some camping over a weekend!

If you guys are thinking about the Mtns. Should check out something down near George Washington park near Harrisonbrug. There are some silly roads around that I ride the bike on. Routes 42, 28, 33 and some others. Hickoverlord, google earth or mapquest the roads in that area. I think you will like.
