Yeah, I know during the main day I'll be cruising and will definitely be visiting the GM Performance Division exhibit on Woodward & 13 mile...
I also e-mailed the editor @ Cobaltmag.com and notified them of our little planned meet... maybe we can get a little coverage while we're at it..

I wouldn't mind going if I am not busy. Went once about.. ****.. at least 6 or 7 years ago, was a blast. Woodward Ave and the Woodward Dream Cruise is one of the few sweet events Detroit has left to offer. Can we get some simple dates and **** posted for the cruise in this thread? if not allready ( only read page 1 at time of this post, sorry)
dude, krispy, if your going to caseville, you should go around August 15th for Cheeseburger festival right in Caseville, its ******* awesome. Google that shiz.
just for those of us who noticed this thread after it had 8 pages allready. Whats the deal guys. Who is taking lead of this cuz I am confused. Detroit is a good 2 hour drive for me from East Lansing here and I am not to familiar at all with tha D. So .. in a real simple reply, can someone update me. IE

Well, interesting choices for me:
1. friends said they were gonna plan a camping trip for when my one friend is on leave from the Navy, turns out they picked the weekend of woodward...bastards
2. my sister wants me to help her move back to MI from El Paso, TX (guilt trip in full effect)
3. Woodward
Now if I can just convince the friends to set the camping trip a week earlier and go to Caseville that would be sweet.

Ok, so here's a quick idea... I'm proposing that we meet for dinner @ the Pot Belly @ Woodward & 13 1/2, it's on the south bound side @ 6pm on Friday August 15th.
Then @ 7pm we can all meet up in a parking lot that's close to it... Directly across from it on the North bound side but just a tad bit south is where Street Legal Customs is located... And before the half light there is a side street (the half mile street) there's a little corner parking lot... From there we can all get together meet up, and get the formation going for the cruise...
How does something like that sound?

Going up the week before Woodward because thats the 1st weekend of Cheeseburger (its a 2 weekend long event now) & my parents have a cottage up there.

edit the list...new job says im workin fri. sat. sun. mon. so if i can go it will only be during the day ( till like 4) ya i know dick move but i want to keep the car for next year and that means iv gotta work....will anybody be there all day/ during the day???? i really need to meet som ppl around here cuz im gonna be livin in dayton, oh 4 days out the week, and up proly every other week......someone plz let me knowcuz i am so pissed off its not funny...i planned my whole summer around the cruise

Sorry to hear that constantproject. On Saturday August 16th (main day of the cruise) I'll be there all day, and if anyone wants to get together for the main day, I'm sure we'll be around then if you want to meet up with us during the day on Saturday for the Cruise...

I really want to make it to the friday meet but, I'm no sure if I'm working. I'm planning on going to the cruise and a friend of mine is bringing his lifted charokee. He wants to take the doors off of it.. lol
