Again, I give you my word, and my companies word that there is NO harm in preordering, and that Modern Performance, and myself have been here for close to 10 years now, and we have preordered a lot of products, the first for the Cobalt community being the K&N intake. We released that product to the market and preordered/sold a lot of them !

Thank you all for your interest, for anyone else that has questions, or would like to preorder one, please shoot me an email, call us toll free or post on here !

Thanks !
Can you please answer my question about the weight difference between this CF spoiler and the standard one? I can't see paying money for something that doesn't have a function, that is just R.I.C.E.

We were the first vendor to release the KN intake about a year ago, and sold the first 100 pieces.

We were the first vendor to release the IPP hood which is the SS style hood for the Cobalt.

We are very well known for having an EXTREMELY low price on the Magnaflow exhaust thats so popular for the Cobalt.

You may not get many responses for your question in this thread, but if you search around, youll see some very happy Cobalt customers that have shopped with us.

We'd be happy to help you with your Cobalt needs, shoot me an email, or give me a call sometime if I can be of help.

man not every visual mod is rice... there is a reason car customizing is so big. every1 wants to differenciate themselves... now with that said, i am a big fan of visual mods done with taste, and this certainly is one mod that can set yourself away from every other standard ss/sc without looking like an idiot.

he said that they are held on with DS tape then you pry them off, I would use a plastic clip removal tool to pop them off carefully, protect your paint

try a hair dryer and some fishing line. make a big loop with the fishing line and slide it as far behind the end cap as you can then start heating it with the hair dryer and pullin the fishing line behind the end cap. this should do he trick. good luck!

Sorry I didnt see your post earlier.
The injector cover has been released, and we have them IN stock ready to ship. We have already shipped a few pieces off to Cobalt owners already !

Its $109.99 for the Cobalt Injector cover btw.

I just checked, and we will be receiving the Carbon Fiber inner blades in less than two weeks, just as expected.

We have a good amount on the way, but still STRONGLY recommend that anyone interested in one preorder it by calling us toll free. We will not bill any credit cards for this until they ship off from us to you.

With that slot the air can't flow faster under the wing to create lower pressure under the wing. A competitor offering a similar if not the same product is saying that it does not.

2. Is the Epoxy used with the CF, UV protected, will the expoxy yellow after sitting in the sun for a year or two?

3. Will your wing be stronger/stiffer then stock? I do not want it flapping around on the freeway like the stock one.

Thanks.

It's nice to someone else offering a CF wing.
As I knew that all of IPP carbon fiber products are made by Epoxy resin gel coated. The most clear color faded to yellow, their are not using epoxy resin, maybe cheaper polyester or vinyl resin will cause the color fade or wear off very quickly.
Epoxy resin has all of difference grades. I got some info from the owner of IPP, he told me their make a carbon fiber hood really light weight about 10-12 lbs, but who gonna pay over $1200.00 to buy a hood.

Anyone is interested to know some of carbon fiber, check following link:

For anyone thats now reading this thread, this product was discontinued by the manufacturer a few years ago.

(Its popping up now because this thread was bumped nearly 4 years after it died off)
