Thank you for your order Visionz.
I tried replying to your pm, but it bounced back because you have too many pm's in your mailbox. I ended up emailing you.

I apologize for the misquote on shipping. It was a low estimate on my part, probably typed out late at night from my home computer. The guys here looked up your order shipping quote and thats how much it came out to be on US Postal mails website.

We will be shipping your package out tomorrow/friday by US Postal mail service.

Thanks.

I just got mine today & they are scratched all to hell! Whoever packaged them must not have been too careful. Also one of the light covers wasnt glued on properly so the cover just falls off. Looks like ill be returning them instead of installing them. Its too bad, Theyre really nice lights too, better than expected. But I guess no one inspected them before they shipped them. I just called today & Im getting a new set once the scratched ones are returned.

damn, how did I miss these!?! I've been wanting a smoked LED tailight for a while now. Not a fan of the ICW ones, I think they are kinda tacky. But these........these are badass!

I'll be ordering a set of these along with the LED 3rd brake light from you guys when I get un-broke.

would you give a discount if I sent you my factory lights for these? I have a black car and have been wanting black taillights for awhile now.

I just tried installing mine today & this is what happened.. the the taillights went in fine but the reverse lights won't stay in place because there is no thread on them for the bolts to fit back in place... how are they supposed to stay put? Im confused as hell....

heres a pic of the stock reverse light:

heres a pic of the smoked LED one with no thread for the bolt to go back on:

The nuts cut their own threads as you turn them onto the plastic "bolt".

depending on how strong the platic is on the light casing it self, and if the nut is close to the same size and the (plastic non threaded bolt), you should be able to make your own threards by carfully bolting it onto the bolt.... only thing i would recommend is to contact modern and if you try and break it, will you get a replacement, is so go ahead and try that. if not just return it back to modern

I just tried to thread the right side & the plastic broke exactly how you said it would. it wasnt strong enough. this sux! The left reverse light was fine though, just not the right... hopefully I can get a new set(again). this will be my second set I had problems with...

The nuts thread themselves onto the stud.

If you look at the factory ones, look at how crude the threads are. They were also cut by the nut when they were threaded on.

Anyone got a pic of these installed on the car, preferably with some running light shots, and running light/brake light shots? If I can see those, I may order next week.

Saw it. I want a pic in the sunlight, and like my post says, I want a pic with the running lights on, since they are not LED I want to see how they look being mismatched.

I guess I've never paid much attention to our rear lights...thought maybe the red around the reverse lights lit up at some point. Anyways, next available cash flow I will be buying these...unless I can work them for xmas somehow...hmm

Do these have to be smoked or can I get them in just the standard red. Also, is this for all 4 pieces or just the two outer ones?

4 piece, im pretty sure you have to get smoked... maybe you could modify your factory lenses and the aftermarket housing... Shouldnt be too hard
