i got the box, downloaded latest software, got the usb to serial cable. computer reads the cable. software reads the serial port (4) but will not recognize the box... any help, does it need to be plugged into the car or anything, i just cant seem to get it to work

im wondering if it needs its own power supply? i just want to set it up before it goes in the car, that and i have no way to adjust it once its in the car

and wat are the advantages of have nls in a s/c'd car we dont lose boost, im still curious about this

 

IIRC it has to be pluged in to the car

You can still shift quicker, and you get to shoot flames, lol. Also, depending if you paid for it, it also doubles as a 2-step.

 

The advantage is faster shifts that dont destroy your clutch, boost or not that helps times

 

how does it not destroy ur clutch?
