05 ss hard to start when hot

Hello there everyone I just joined the site as a member however I have been using this site for how to threads and various other issues I've had with the car. so im very familiar with what happens on these threads so hopefully it doesn't go way off topic. its a 2005 sc coupe with cosmetic mods, intake, exhaust. thats it.
but what happened was last week pulling into my local speedway gas station and filled the tank up as it was on 1/8 tank. then, it wouldn't start. cranking cranking cranking and cranking. so being pretty mechanically inclined, i popped the hood and checked for fuel pressure as the main road was too loud to hear the pump, sure enough, plenty of pressure, cycled the key a few times, then still, crank crank crank. finally I messed with all the underhood fuses and relays, all are good no corrosion or dirt anywhere. after that, I crank it and it fires first crank but hardly will stay alive. giving it more then 10% gas would only drop the rpms more, we'll being mad, i start getting on the throttle really hard and it cleared up enough to run on its own. no cels, no misfires on my scanner, tbps reads and operates tb just fine and its clean. no dirt. I don't get it. did I get bad gas? it starts perfect cold but when coolant temps are still above 170 it won't start. I haven't filled up again yet so im still clueless. when it runs, it runs great. it's just getting it started after she's already been running that it happens. hoping someone has an idea where to look. only guess it clogged converter maybe or loose connections somewhere in line with igniton

could be Coil packs overheating, Evap purge solenoid might be bad.

Did this happen only after that one fillup or for awhile?

I'd wager you have an evap purge solenoid that's stuck open and allowing fuel vapor to flood the engine.

Next time it won't start, hold the gas pedal 100% down and crank it for 5-10 seconds. This activates "flood clear" mode and it won't fire the injectors, so it will draw in fresh air. After you stop cranking, release the pedal and try to start it. If it fires right up, replace your failed evap purge solenoid (the one in the engine bay, right on the back of the head).

it happens everytime i start the car after already driving it and its fully warmed up and i go into the store for example, it then doesn't want to start. I did recently replace the evap solenoid after I had a rusty fuel line leak by the rear end near the exhaust under the heat shield wrap. it holds moisture so i removed and replaced that sending line and a fuel filter, 2 weeks later the evap code and now this

i replaced the solenoid on the right side of the head, 1 electrical connection(wires look good) one inlet connection(feels nice and tight) same with outlet tube. possibly a faulty part? I haven't had any codes yet since I replaced that and the code was p0442 i believe which was small leak detected but, I can't smell or find anything. and the code hasent come back yet
