2007 cobalt ls 2.2l

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forms and glad I found it. I've found out alot if things for my cobalt by reading through these forms. I have a 2007 cobalt ls 2.2l. Not much but I've done a little work to it. I have it tuned for 93 octane, a 2.5 zzp catback exhaust, cold air intake, cooler thermostat, ported tb and hotter plugs.

Welcome. You say you are tuned for 93 octane so did they just increase the ignition timing? I never really thought that there was any power to gain with these cars utilizing higher octane fuel with stock heads/compression.

YES my tuner increased my ignition timing for 93 octane. With no knocks or detonation while idle or driving. He juiced as much timing as he could and from stock is a night and day difference. It's no race car but my car runs 93 and I haven't had any problems. I don't know the exact degree he increased it too.
