Well, this will be my "professional" intro into autocross to be honest. I raced dirt bikes as a kid & I need that adrenalin spike in my life again haha. Raced a modded CR125, man I loved that thing. I live in the NE & the main circuit to run up here is with the "Sports Car Club of New Hampshire" NHRA. I'm kind of late this year to get in, might be able to make #5 or #6; otherwise I plan on starting next year. As for plans, I wanna get into the street touring class I think; so as much "stock" as possible. I also run this as my daily driver too. With that said & the research I've done, I might be able to go GM stage 2 or 3 and have it still be sanctioned because it was technically offered from GM.
As for the future of the car, it's become my baby. The Chevy SS' are a timepiece that should not be forgotten & I will do everything in my power to keep this alive. I would really like to try twin charging it later on or maybe a 1320..if I can even find one lol; I really love the supercharger regardless of it's power difference vs a turbo. Due to how rare they are up here in Maine/Nh, I spent almost 10 years looking for a good candidate. Found it, started fixing & upgrading and I have 0 plans to stop.
