2009 Cobalt SS Sedan From Indiana

Just picked this up last weekend. G85 and 100% stock.

I have had LS1 cars mainly (2001 Camaro and 2004 GTO).
The Cobalt SS seems like a good blend of performance, economy, and utility.

I am looking forward to learning more from the site!
Anyone have suggestions for the best transmission fluid?
I don't think this one has had it changed yet. Most people use stock fluid around here?

About the transmission fluid I would agree with Snail, the thread below will answer a few questions and explain why.

Thanks. Does the Redline seem to cut down on some of the low speed whine? Or is that just the nature of the beast?
The most I think I would do is GM Stage 1. It is just so easy and probably what the car should have been from the factory. I really just got sick of not having a decent, fun, and reliable DD so I want to preserve this for as long as I can haha.

Already replaced all the tires haha. Summer tires while driving the car back in a winter mix/slush storm was enough for me.

Shouldn't really have low speed whine. I would go with the stock stuff. Where in Indiana are you?

Really? Mine has a faint whine at low speed. Nothing crazy.
I am coming from a T56 so I have no idea how this is supposed to sound haha.
Yeah I am thinking stock fluid is the way to go.
