Thumbs up Air Force Slowbalt

My name is Kaleb, and I'm part of a few auto-related forums, and I'm looking forward to calling this community "home". I load bombs. E1, currently stationed at Eglin AFB, Florida until the 26th of this month. Moving to Luke AFB (Phoenix, AZ) in a few weeks. Just bought an 05 SS/SC, and I'm in the process of de-ricing it. Car is yellow, has ~96k on her. Plans are low via BC coilovers, 5x112 BBS LM reps and wobble nuts, zzp stage 3 and a carbon front splitter. Anyone here from the Panhandle or Phoenix area?

Welcome. Do yourself a favour and avoid the wobble nuts. Get some proper fitting 5x110's instead.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I come from the VW world, I read a lot of mixed reviews about wobble bolts. ESM offers custom PCD on their wheels, I might go with them eventually. I have a set of 3 piece wheels, but they are only 16" :/ BBS RS. My car has a few mods that i could tell from when I bought it, but I am still kind of clueless. I see blue pulley bolts, and a belt tensioner some sort. Going to assume it has a smaller pulley, but have no way of telling. Car also has a header, a full Megan exhaust, i believe some sort of tune (redline is 7k) and an Injen intake. On the exterior, it has black housing headlights with faded-ass lenses, and a faded Evo style carbon fiber hood and some 18" venti wheels I am not too fond of. I'll update the OP momentarily. @Slowbalt2000, you go/went to college in my old hometown. I've seen your car around campus a few times back when I had my old mk4 Jetta.

On that note, does anyone want to trade their stock yellow hood and stock headlights for my swag filled aftermarket ones? Bonus points if you have stock wheels of some sort.

Welcome to the forum!
I'm about 3 hours from the panhandle. Always down to meet up if you wanna chill for a bit driving through during the move.
And like everyone else, post some pics!

Well, Yahoo customer care was no help whatsoever. I'm just going to switch to photobucket. Will update with pics shortly, sorry for the delay.
