Here's my obligatory check in as a new 'Balt owner. I picked up a bone stock 05 SS with a broken timing chain to take the role of my daily driver. So far she's gotten the better part of a full rebuild plus head studs and valve springs in preparation for more speedy bits. The garbage suspension has been swapped to sportlines on 08+ FE5 struts and the exterior has gotten some love via new GM headlights and a some polishing.

Thanks! I'm really surprised at the lack of dents from the previous owner (even from hail). She cleaned up pretty good after a polish witb Meguiar's 205 compound, but the water spots from acid rain may need some more love.

 

Unfortunately, i bought mine with some bad dents, lots of scratches, and faded paint with clear coat gone in spots. After some minor body work and a paint job though, she'll be just as sexy.

But i do love that blue you've got.
