Hey guys, I bought a 2007 ss 2.4 NA on the 10th. Been lurking threads since then. Site seemed worth joining so here I am. Already ordered a exedy stage 2 clutch. Only reason I'm replacing the clutch is because the transmission is also being replaced. I found a 2.2 tranny for 375$ they are the same, correct?

Assuming bad syncro, and who knows what else. Haha 2nd gear pops right out as soon as I let off the clutch and it grinds going into third.

Did you try adjusting the linkages or looking at the mounts or bracket or cables?

Unfortunately all the simple stuff seemed to check out. That's why I think its internal. And this car has had a rough 96k miles. I'd feel much better replacing the whole tranny rather than specific parts. Especially when the transmissions for these cars are so cheap.
