Good to be here.

This is officially my first time being part of any type of online community. My ride is a red 2007 Cobalt Supercharged I got October 9th after getting rid of my 04 Lancer Ralliart. Gotta say the change has been amazing. I'm loving this car and I plan on caring for it well. I've read up and learned so much here. Including how to perform the air box mod and take off my rear spoiler, both of which I've done already with no issues. Thanks to all who posted on those subjects. Looking forward to more projects on My SS. I'm honored to be part of the CobaltSS network.

Honored?

Wow, I can dig it.

You won't be so honored after you smell the beer farts in the lounge.....

Post up some pics, man.

I'll have to keep that in mind then. Working on getting photos up. Wasn't originally a fan of the bright red but with all the heads I turn I can get used to it.

Much obliged. Didn't think the new guys were that bad haha. Glad to be different then.

It was very easy to take the wing off using a high powered heat gun from work. Only downside is that there are six holes left open. Bad news for when it rains. I have them taped with electrical tape from the bottom until I can figure out a way to cover them up. I'm thinking silicone sealant and covering it up with factory GM spray paint.

i believe in one of the how to's they explained how to fix the holes with some kind of putty or something.

There are a ton of cobalt's down in the lone star state as well you should check out the regional section.

Welcome. I'd vote for fiberglass patchwork for the holes and smooth with bondo but that's more work unless you're up for the task.

Unfortunately I'm not a body guy so I've no idea what those terms mean. But thank you for the input. I'd have a body shop seal them but over 200 bones for a couple of holes? No thank you.
