greetings
Ill be picking up my cobalt Saturday just thought id get ahead. 09 SS/TC its silver with the two tone interior grey and black. Stock motor, lots of bolt ons: K & N intake, charge and down pipe, aluminum radiator and zzp intercooler; I think he said trifecta tune also. Ill be rebuilding the suspension when I get it ill prob make a vid ill post links if I do.
Thanks for the heads up on the tune, I plan on taking it to a coworkers friend to tune when I get it. I was worried about the tune when the seller mentioned it but apparently you can turn it off and run stock I'll be driving it about 300 miles home; what sucks is that he said it is activated with cruise control button so that prob means no cc on the way home that is going to suck.

Op- either on or off, I wouldn't worry about driving me on the tune. Trifecta doesn't make that big of a difference except under wot. I had it long ago, and it was activated with cruise control on. Make sure you get someone who is experienced with ecotecs to tune it or it could actually be even worse than trifecta.
I'm always trying to figure out who people are on here verses who they are on Facebook because names are optional on here. Your comment about msp had me thinking. And I knew you had raced your car a few times.
Thanks for the replys and all the info Ill ask the guy for more info on how the tune is set up on his car. Chevygirl2006, thanks I will my coworkers bud hasnt worked on a direct injection before.
Damn I would for sure want to find out to try and prevent it from ever happening again. This is why I always like to learn about peoples engine failures. Failures tell you more than having something work successfully.
