Welcome, post pics when you get it.

Your first mod should be to get a better tune. Trifecta's tunes are rich as ****.

Thanks for the heads up on the tune, I plan on taking it to a coworkers friend to tune when I get it. I was worried about the tune when the seller mentioned it but apparently you can turn it off and run stock I'll be driving it about 300 miles home; what sucks is that he said it is activated with cruise control button so that prob means no cc on the way home that is going to suck.

Should be activated by the traction control button, not cruise.

My trifecta is off when cruise is on and on when cruise is off. Trifecta does selectable tune either way. Cruise switch or on in competitive mode.

This, should have no issues running cruise on the way home. Welcome!

If you want a good tune pm me. My bf has a ecotec performance shop here in Houston. One of the best ecotec tuners there is. Look up mad scientist performance on Facebook.

Op- either on or off, I wouldn't worry about driving me on the tune. Trifecta doesn't make that big of a difference except under wot. I had it long ago, and it was activated with cruise control on. Make sure you get someone who is experienced with ecotecs to tune it or it could actually be even worse than trifecta.

I'm always trying to figure out who people are on here verses who they are on Facebook because names are optional on here. Your comment about msp had me thinking. And I knew you had raced your car a few times.

Not really sure what happened. It was running fine before that. We are just guessing what happened.

I'd be interested in hearing when you do find out. Wonder if your fuel pressure dropped or something like that?

Damn I would for sure want to find out to try and prevent it from ever happening again. This is why I always like to learn about peoples engine failures. Failures tell you more than having something work successfully.
