Hello
Hi guys and gals, my name is Gary. I just purchased a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC with 126k on the clock. Coming from a 2003 mitsu eclipse GS I got the itch for another sporty and decently quick car since before the Mitsu I owned a 95 H/C/I stalled with gears trans am.
Anyway hope to learn alot of information from this place so I'll be lurking around quite often gathering information and learning the ins and outs of cobalts.

While I would love to be able to lower my car, the misses would not agree to that at all lol. I expressed interest in wanting to do that to my eclipse when I first got it and that was a huge no. When I mentioned it about this car, it was still a no.
Only thing I am really thinking about doing is maybe an exhaust, replacing the factory electric boost gauge with a mechanical boost gauge to get more accuracy and better response as well doing an FXR 3.0 retro on my headlights. I have everything I need already from my eclipse, just gotta get a spare set of headlights to do it on since this is my DD and I can't go without headlights for several days while I work on them.

Yea and alot more aftermarket support as well. 3G eclipses got left in the dark as far as aftermarket performance. Definitely feels good to have something that rides better, handles better, looks better, and has more power and gets the same and in fact better MPG so far.
