It is an 03 l200 ( the front end revision). That pic was taken before it was slightly dropped as well.

The engine is about to be pulled for minor mods...

Dont have any real good pics on it right now except for some restoration and build photos.
I do have a photobucket album on it- Saturn L Stuff Photos by mrhonda24 | Photobucket

not to bad, I am not a big fan of the L series, but I must say, this looks pretty clean. I like it.

If you like I have started a build thread in the Saturnfans.com forum. I have to make a turbo downpipe that might involve some decent geometry.

Goaliemo here> Custom L: Turbo Exhaust - SaturnFans.com Forums

It is what it is. Too bad it isn't a manual! Idk if you knew either; Like somewhere around only couple thousand made for the L.

im surprised id never seen that threat. I frequent SaturnFans. hmm. could always do a tranny swap down the line and make it a manual.

it takes a brave man to boost the 2.2s. I wish I had the time and money to try and boost my Ion

Why do you have to be brave to boost a 2.2? I'll be turbo'd soon and next year I'm switching to an 06 LE5 since those can hold way more power.

I have read a lot on people trying to boost the 2.2, and it seems like its a lot more work than it is really worth, I could be wrong, I am new to the car world and trying to learn as I read these build threads.
I wanted to make my 2.2 sedan fast for a while, before I signed up for any forums or anything, and a lot of people told me the time and money isn't worth the outcome.
Again, I could be wrong. Just trying to learn here. It is nice getting different peoples point of views on things.

It's more cost effective to not mod it at all and get an SS so that is true but not nearly as fun.

Which is all but true, I probably could've saved enough now to buy a used Cobalt... But, honestly I cant recall if I spent that much yet.
All I really would have to do is create a record of everything and then I might just surprise myself.

Goaliemo> The Saturn l's manual cradle was of a big discussion of Interchange. The manual l200 engine subframe's has different setup- The F35 actually uses mechanical linkage. The cradle has a mount setup for this. Of course the mounts have the engine and tranny assy sitting either further back or further forward( cannot remember). Different computers of course, Different exhaust manifold routing and design. The exhaust routing actually goes underneath the steering rack unlike the automatics which go above it.
