To be honest, I am not sure I am in the right forum, as I have a Summit White 2007 4dr Cobalt LT with a bit over 40,000 miles on her, Auto 2.2l, but I thought I'd check it out here. (If I am totally in the wrong forum, let me know which one would be better for me)

I am used to the CruzeTalk Forum, so navigation here is a little tricky so far. If anyone could point me to the things I need to know posts for the 2007 model year, I would be grateful.

I might as well ask my first question as well. Has anyone found a trunk liner from another year or vehicle that would dress up my painted trunk? Specifically the lid. I know, strange first question but...

Not really sure what you are asking about when you say trunk liner or what you are looking for their.

 

Thanks for the reply. The trunk liner is usually a thin plastic piece that simulates fabric or velvet or has a pebbled surface and covers, in this instance, the inside of the trunk lid to dress it up. My Cobalt is just the painted sheet metal. The picture is of another vehicle, but you can see the trunk liner for the sides of the trunk. I specifically want a piece for the trunk lid, others would be a bonus.




At this time I am interested in mostly appearance items and spent time looking for body mods including lips and hoods. I like to use factory items from other models/years that fit, so I thought I would try that with the Cobalt.

 

You can post a wanted ad in the classifieds section for the trunk pieces. You might be able to find some decent used parts. I don't know for sure the different dimensions of different trim levels but I would think that many Cobalts will share the same.
