Hello everyone!
My name is Chris, I'm from Albany,NY. I just purchased a 2009 Cobalt SS 4dr today,I am taking delivery of the vehicle on Saturday.
I previously owned a 2001 tiburon with a custom turbo set up running a Garrett 60trim internally gated at 18psi on a FIC piggyback. Never dynoed it but it HAD some nut. Unfortunately I lost control of the car during a winter storm last year and totaled it into a guardrail
My wife actually got me into these cars, she's drives a 2007 SS 2.4L N/A so I'm fairly familiar with the site after doing research for her. I lowered hers on ssc springs, put on a injen CAI, installed the SS front lip and gave it the old evo mod. Nice clean look.
On to mine, I put the car up on my lift today and saw that it has a ZZP down pipe with a high flow cat, ZZP intercooler and a K&N Sri. It may have more but I'm not familiar with these cars enough to know what to look for other than the obvious. My biggest concern is the tune, I am in touch with ZZP to see if they have any history of a tune via the VIN. The short term fuel trims looked ok under boost but without a wideband gauge, I wanna be sure about it.
