Hi I'm new to the forum, I have a silver 2.2 07 cobalt lt. I got it a few months ago and I love it. Planning doing major mods and rebuilding the head for better performance, so anyone who wants to share their advice is more than welcome.

 

If performance is what you're after just boost it, or save the hassle and get a T/C

 

Hey fortins, welcome to the forums
Hopefully the 2.2 dont make you die of boredom
Your best bet is definately to supercharge it
And put on an exhaust that doesnt sound like 'oops i farted'
Bolt on kits go for a thousand or so
And will make 200 ponies for miles down the road
Youre not about to explode, and a ported head is great
Really lets the air ventilate, valvesprings also set it straight
Look at mrbelvidere's threads about his 2.4,
His **** is built stronger with sleeves and boosted bores
Where ya from anyway? What color is the car, a crowd pleaser
Any plans to mod the outside or leave it lookin sleeper?

Im from Tamaqua Pa. I forgot to mention I have a CAI, headers, and a full catback exhaust. I was thinking turbo for so long cux I love the sound of the blow off but just recently I decided to go SC. My plan for the exterior is halo led's, fogged taillights, vador spoiler, carbon fiber hood, and a VIS Striker body kit. Oh its silver btw.
