Hello from Kansas City Missouri!

Obligatory check in post here. Very excited to be a part of the forum!
Just picked up an 08' SS/TC with 143,000 miles on it and looking forward to doing needed maintenance with a possible transmission swap.
If anyone has links to previous posts about swapping the stock f35 to a f23 they would be much appreciated.
Car is currently pushing ~320 to the wheels on a 24psi tune.
Mods are zzp chargepipe, zzp intercooler, unknown bov, zzp catback, unknown cai, and rear lowering springs.
If anyone has any advice for a noobie I would be more than happy to hear it!
Looking forward to interacting with everyone and getting into it with the cobalt!

Very happy with the car so far! Only really worried about busting 3rd gear lol

That looks super clean! Congrats.

Post some pictures of the engine bay here. I was told to do the same and when I did some of the more knowledgeable people pointed some things out that I never would have known (sensors, BPV type, etc).

FWIW: The manual/oil cap call for Mobile1 5w30. The 5w30 Walmart SuperTech brand meets/exceeds GM4718M oil specification that is listed for these cars. So if you can find a 5qt bottle of that it is usually about half the price of a 5qt Mobile 1 jug.

I don't mean to scare you: with that mileage I would confirm the last time the timing chains/guides/tensioners where done. I bought mine last November with 127K and luckily had all of that replaced just two months ago with about 130k. It was at the edge of catastrophic failure (it was making some serious noise, guides were broken, and bolts worn down). I assume that was the first time it had been done so all things considered, 14 years and 130k miles, and surely plenty of "spirited" driving I guess that held up pretty well. I had a shop install the Cloyes kit from RockAuto (CLOYES94202SX and94201SX) and the ZZP upgraded chain guide (the green thing). My car was definitely at the fringes in several areas of maintenance, but it would be good to check this specifically on yours.

I am also new here how are you all! By the way, if anyone is interested in playing real money online games and searching for a website that offers a review of Saskatchewan casino Login review, they can visit https://saskatchewancasino.com here to discover online casinos sites that offer reviews. To locate those sites, I am also using that website link.
