Hello my Chevy cousins!
Hey guys,
Names Marcel. I'm from Northern VA. I own a 06 ion redline with 2.4l.
I joined this because I herd from a friend who recently joined that you guys have great info!
Already know some guys around me with s/c cobalts and some t/c guys around manassas. Idk if any of you are on here.
Looking forward to fun discussions with my cobalt cousins!

welcome! alot of new IRLs lately, which is nice to see. post up current and future mods! and if you need to know anything, search it on google and add cobalt ss at the end! itll bring up a thread on this website.

Better way to do this is type "site:cobaltss.net" then whatever you are searching. It will only search that specific site, works for any site.

Not to hate on anyone, but seriously guys, we aren't exactly 05-09 anymore. We need to be nice to the noobs. I was guilty years ago of demanding ****, but we need to be nice, and welcome newbies.

I'm originally from Würzburg Bayern. Yes Tmerritt it's Marcel duh! :-P I have what tmerritt likes to call the Franken redline. It has everything the Lsj 2.0 has except I have a 2.4l what I have found is that some ppl had this as well very rare only herd of 2 others. It appears to be an attempt at what Chevy did with the 2.4 ss for the 06 /07 years. So far only laser blue 06 though Idk why maybe because it was the rarest color but Ya I have redline everything except engine. Weird. Cool. Rare love it and it can keep up with a s/c not all the way but right behind.

I am currently stock 2.4 except a mendral 2.5 borla catback with res delete. Shorty shifter. And lowered via Megan racing springs. I have same chassis /suspension /and had same stock exhaust that the rl/ss/g5gt share.
Wish I would have know you were in Fredericksburg earlier lol I was just down there a couple hours ago and yesterday :-P

I personally love cobalts too if I'd ever get one It would probably have to be a white 09 t/c with the blacked it Windows or that dark blue Chevy has love those. Love to know what some of you 2.4 guys do for cai. Been looking haven't really found much except weapon r and we all know that's crap :-P still in the processes of figuring out if I want to add s/c - t/c I actually wanted to see if I couldn't get close to 200 whp with some add ons and a tune staying n/a though.
