Hello From The Sunshine State

Greetings everyone. I recently just purchased a 2009 Cobalt SS/TC in Illinois and drove it all the way back to Florida yesterday. I am absolutely loving the car and am looking forward to learning as much as I can about it with the help of the forums.

PS
I am still dead tired from my 20 hour long straight through drive. How far you guys driven before?

Nice, I did a similar thing with my Evo but it was only a 9 hour drive.

Fly/ Drive is on my bucket list. The closest I came was a 6 hr trip up north with a trailer to get the 2007 SS.

Correct. I fly into Chicago and drove it back to Florida. The drive wasn't all that bad honestly.

Welcome. My flight and drive trip record are both the same at 15 hours. I guess if you consider drive + layovers + flights and all that my longest continuous trip was around 25 hours. It was hell. I could never drive for 20 hours straight I don't think. I get antsy at the 5 hour mark.

I figure when I do it, I will not be in a hurry and will take my time on the way home.
