Heyo, New Member Here With 2 Cobalts
I've been a lurker here ever since I got my first car (2010 Cobalt LT) back like 3 years ago, but after recently getting my second car (2008 Cobalt SS, also my first manual car), and now being a serious Cobalt owner, I figured now is the time to start participating on this site and getting stuck in. I've always been a fan of the Cobalt SS, I'd always choose it as a starter car in NFS Most Wanted (2005) and Midnight Club 3, but to be actually a part of the club is really cool.
Will post pictures of my cars together when I can. Both are rather dirty right now and I haven't ever thought about getting decent pictures of them both until recently so I will work on that.

Thanks!
No mods on my LT but the SS I bought has some mods done to it. It has 1" lowering springs, Cold Air Intake, Oversized Intercooler, Aftermarket 2.5" exhaust (I think, either that or a 3" exhaust), 3" Down Pipe (ZZP) without the Cat on it (I bought the other Down Pipe with the Cat on it from the guy for $60 as well). Also has Spyder Projector headlights, and American Racing Maverick rims. I'm sure it has other stuff I just can't remember off the top of my head. I'd have to ask the guy when he gets back from his vacation and make a list so I know for next time.
I have quite a few mod ideas that I'm thinking of doing to it when money isn't such an issue (on a 10k loan from the bank rn so that comes first), like retrofitting the stock headlights, smoked taillights, maybe changing the interior trim to carbon fiber, exterior/interior lighting, and some new rims that suit the car better and new shoes as well to keep it hugged to the road. I'm also considering getting a local body shop to make me custom wide body fenders but even if there is a chance they would do it, it'd be so expensive. For now the only stuff I can really afford to do is touch up the engine bay (probably spray some bits and bobs or get them wrapped in carbon fiber if possible to add some flair) and interior a bit more. My ultimate goal for the car is a show car for the local Show 'N' Shine. For now it sits in my front yard until I drive it out on a nice day and will be covered up for the coming months.
At the time of buying it, it had ~55k km on it which isn't bad, but it isn't a pristine car by any stretch. I can tell the guy who owned it before me didn't worry too much about cleanliness as much as I do because it was quite dirty on the inside and he forgot to clean out his stuff when I got it. He actually left a bottle of Epoxy in the passenger door compartment and it had slightly exploded and leaked all down the side of the door and side skirt, so now there's epoxy all over the passenger side skirt. The tires are also All Seasons which aren't in great shape, and for how much power it puts down (I've guessed around 320 or so), it has some serious tire spin issues :P
Oh, also, it's my first manual XD Still learning the whole doing everything myself thing, but I figured I'd have to learn manual at some point to consider myself a proper car guy.

Welcome, nice to see more multi-cobalt owners. Have two myself and plan on getting more delta bodies in the future.
