Hey! I'm a broke college kid who ended up with a Cobalt.. (LS, at the moment, unmodded..) and fell in love! I had a souped 00 Malibu V6 before this (it's still kickin' at over 300k miles) so I expect a long life out of my Cobalt.

About me: 25. Female. North Central Florida. 2009 Cobalt LS Coupe.

I bought my car back in June of 2012 for $7.5k. It had 22.5k miles and was considered a flood title.. So far, I've put nearly 30k miles on it.

I am very broke at the moment but want to work on my first mods which include: tinted windows, bigger tires (17's), and lowering.. that will probably start happening once I get my second job. I spray painted parts of my dash so far.. but that's as far as I've gotten.

It is VERY base. Plastic hub caps (already tore them to shreds), manual everything, and had a few fuses blown (replaced, thankfully.) and a speaker is already out.. But, it's already proven to be a great car.. whipped an 08 Mustang in it the other day and get challenged all the time despite only having 155HP (if that). Had my first accident in it; wet roads and sailed into an Eclipse doing roughy 45mph.. barely dented the front. My boss' dad backed into it with his truck and it left an even tinier dent.. Tough car.

But, I have to ask:
Mod suggestions, anyone? Reasonably priced until I get better funds? I am all about speed and adore racing.

And is anyone in Florida?! I see Cobalts around here all the time (there are 4 in my apartment complex) but I never see any "Cobalt People" if you know what I mean..
