Hey what's up my name is Alex I'm new to the forum and new to the cobalt ss life but not new to the chevy life I own a 91 camaro t-top, an 08 colorado and just bought an 09 Cobalt SS. I'm from So-Cal and I'm looking to find cool cheap ways to make more power and maybe find a couple other cobalt ss bros to bro-out with and maybe go do some auto-cross. I like cars fixing stuff and hanging out with cool peeps I also like riding harleys.

Everyone always wants to get rid of the spoiler. I think that is what makes the SS look like an SS. I wish I could get an RY high-rise spoiler in good shape. So, if you got one your looking to sell, I'm your guy.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the high rise spoiler as well (I always wanted one) but around my neck of the woods, wingless SS coupes are VERY few and far between. It's nice to see one of these.

Hey yes it was. I had been looking for one and the guy gave me a great deal plus the thing is plush and under 100k miles and everything works perfectly. Really cool guy and clean cobalt it was between this a Neon SRT4 or a Abarth.

Yooooo! Nice ride man. I'm driving a 2008 cobalt ss coupe black low-rise spoiler. I freakin luv this car man. I got the suspension dialed in with fe5 struts/shocks ,yyz springs hardcore rear sway bar, zzp intercooler&charge pipes, zzp catted down pipe, silicone intake tube($tock box), zzp canned tune. (gonna get a pro tune but want to upgrade clutch). 162xxx miles. I've owned it since 140xxx. Car is a beast. Oh ya & i stay in Van Nuys. Ive cleaned the intake valves as well. Something you should look into. I can show you how to if need be. I've learned alot with this car & am always desperately seeking to keep it tip top. You're the first one I've heard of with in 20 miles of me. Welcome!

That's badass I actually just reached out to zzp to order some parts for it I want to get at least 400 horsepower out of this bad boy but I'm down to hang out bro if you're up for it I live in Santa Clarita maybe we can meet up in like go for a drive or something or maybe like hit up Krispy Kremes if you're down.

Ya man. I'm totally down. 400 you say. Sick man. I was thinking of going e47. But i have been driving alot of miles to work lately & have been appreciating my m.p.g.'$. They have one e 85 gas station in Northridge & one in sylmar. E85 & 91 @ the same pump. Do you know of any LNF tuners near you?

I have smoked l.e.d. tails now . I'll take a pic

Beautiful ride man! Sorry about the other message I don't know what my auto dictate picked up on the first couple words. Yeah I want to increase the power but I want to do a reliable increase I don't want to be breaking down all the time. ZZP does "remote tuning" I'm not a hundred percent sure of how it works if they have you plug in your laptop to your car and they link up to your computer or if they just send you a pre tuned control board after you tell them what parts you have installed but I'm not sure how well it would work with out having a sample of the fuel that we use out here. I was talking to a guy over at ZZP and I'm actually considering driving out my car to get it worked on and having them do internals and all of that.

Thanx man. You Sound pretty serious seeming how you're down to drive to Michigan to upgrade internals. love the dedication. Ya zzp does remote tuning via hp tuners & so does RPM motorsports. There's a guy psychostevo that used to be on this forum that is a tuner their out of Arizona. He does e47 tunes for the lnf as well. Ya man reliable power is what it's all about. My car feels great right now but i really want to get it dialed in properly. If I'm not careful i can throw too much boost. It holds 25 psi but spikes to 28. So I'm kinda leary on W.O.T. i know of a guy on Sepulveda called original auto. They have a bunch of sick cars there & a dyno. The tuner there says he tunes direct injection platforms on hp tuners. I might go with him. He tunes for E85 as well
