Just another newbie

Hey everyone, my name's Casey and I just joined the forum today. I'm looking to buy a Cobalt ss in the next month or two in order to keep the miles down on my other vehicles and most importantly, save on gas. A little about myself; I currently own two vehicles, my daily driver is a lifted 2001 GMC Sierra with a bunch of bolt-ons, and my toy is a 1993 GMC Typhoon. I've owned everything from BMW M3s to Hondas, and everything in between, but I'm just a GM guy at heart. Unfortunately my search is coming up pretty void around the Seattle area, and with my work schedule I'm unable to travel a long way. I test drove a 2006 SS last week with 78k miles that had multiple problems and I just didnt feel right about pulling the trigger on that one. Just wondering though, how much should i be expecting to pay for an SS/TC with approximately 60-75k miles and mostly unmodded, and what kind of advice do you guys have for a person in my situation looking for one of these things? Are they holding up pretty well at 100k and 200k miles? Thanks for your time guys.

Welcome. I'd try to find a TC with 60-70k on it for no more than 9, maybe 10k. Might take a little to find the right one but it will be worth it!
