Had my red 06 SS/SC for 5 years and still loving it! I enjoy putting money into it and driving it the way it was meant to be driven! Definitely consider it my baby. Will be posting pics of it when I feel like walking through 3 feet of snow to go outside.

5 years! Where you been?

 

Just started using this site. Plus, I was working constantly to pay for the car and just paid it off. When I bought it, I fell in love with it and the dealer pretty much ass raped me on the price. Plus, even with a great driving record, insurance was crazy cause I was 23, it's SC, and Michigan is expensive on insurance.

 

Nice to see you've stuck with the car this long though, any mods?

Thank you for all of the Welcome's. Unfortunately, I won't be staying. I recently crashed my car going 70mph and it is totaled. I am looking for another 06 ss/sc for when the insurance company pays me.

Possibly, couldn't say for sure. The cobalt held amazing value and I replaced it with a 07 Pontiac G5 GT and a 93 Dodge Stealth ES 3.0.

 

Why would you buy an ES stealth? Those cars are such ****.....

Where are your SS/SC pics both before and after the wreck?

 

Yeah, wtf. My buddy had one and he beat it to **** cause it sucked so bad.

G5Gt is alright.

 

It was dirt cheap and just a project vehicle. Trying to learn a lil about mechanics. Figured, if I mess it up, oh well, it's just a Dodge. The insurance co pd really well and I got a good deal on the g5. The pics are in my album. I really only got the g5 cause it reminded me of the ss (minus the ***** & and leather). Pics are in my album under my baby.

Is that the SOHC or DOHC model, it's still FWD though instead of AWD which is more of a disadvantage on that much heavier car, should have went looking for a TT or VR-4.

I dunno if I can bring myself to do anything extra to my g5. I kinda feel like no matter what, it will never be as good as my ss. Besides, all of my leds are red to match that car and the system has already been transferred. The stealth is a POS, can't get it to quit overheating and there's not much out there for info on working on them.
