Hi all, always loved those 2.0 turbos and sc. Anyways, might be getting one in an ion redline. It looks alright, it has an exhaust leak and two big scratches, will probably need painted. Interior is in good shape, is inspected and the guy is adamant that other than the exhaust leak, it's a great car. It has 215k and is listed at 2k. Oh and no rust issues which is hard to get in my area. If it runs good as he says, should I go for it?

Shouldn't be worried about the engine being that it's high miles?

 

Your only paying $2000 for it, if you get another 45,000 miles out of it, it isn't a bad deal.

My 06 SS/SC has just over 206,000 miles on it, and its probably the best running car I've ever owned.
I paid $2700 for mine in 2014 with 180,000 miles on it. (That's Canadian, that would of been around $2500 with the exchange rate at the time)

 

Wow. That's a lot of miles. Mine has 10,000 hopefully can go for years to come.

 

For that amount you can't go wrong
