Hey everybody, my name is Jentry. Just bought an '08 SS/TC a couple weeks ago, thought it would be wise to join up to learn more about it. I moved up to this after having an Audi A4 with some stuff done to it. First thing I did was got HP tuners and ditched the cheesy looking CF hood. I am hoping somebody recognizes it, so I can learn what is done to it (bought it off a dealer). The thing is pretty quick, was walking all over my buddies 340WHP Saab 9-3. Here is the only pic I have of it right now, but I am going to try to get a photo shoot of it with a friend soon. Here is a short rundown on the car

2008 Cobalt SS/TC
Black on Black/Red cloth
41K miles
Synapse charge pipes (from what I can tell through internet searches)
ZZP Intercooler (one that came on it was cracked)
Catless DP (have not looked into which one yet)
OZ Racing Ultraleggera 18x8's (i think that's the width, have not had them off yet)

Yea, it had this hood, but it was faded badly.

Wasn't the dealer called City of Cars or something? He was selling a black LSJ too before the turbo one, my buddy was looking at it but it was sold before he had a chance to drive it.

Thats what it said, but I had a more knowledgeable person look at it at a local meet, and he said its a stock K04. They look different compared to the Audi K04, so IDK.

Its an old grudge race car. This car is the first one I have seen that has shot the carrier out of the third member on a 9". Giggle juice will do stuff like that.

 

nice , my family is really into lsx motor cars. we have a 98 ls1 firebird, with the ws6 appearance package , its also a full bolt on car .

 

I'm currently stay in Mason. If you're ever around you home 20 mins north of Lansing maybe we can meet up.

 

Took me a little longer than planned, but here she is. Also took down a SRT-4 and a 9-3 Aero last night, so the car is 5-1 right now.

welcome, good looking cobalt. I had a 94 z28 with the lt1 and while it wasn't as fast as a ls, it ran really well with just minor mods. Motor was really smooth and revved quick.
