Hey guys might buy a 2009 cobalt tc with 74,000 miles. What are some things you recommend me to check. Thanks

welcome, they are pretty well built car, i have 90k on mine right now daily drive it for work and only issues ive ever had were the porus block issue but your at 77k so not saying your out of the woods but your chances of having a bad block are very slim. when you take it for a ride make sure the turbo doesnt make any weird noises as well. check and see if it has the gm stage one sensors on the intake maifold they will be black and blue if you so you have a gms1 balt and 3 bar map sensors! but other then that dont check the ebrake cause they are junk to begin with haha and check for any dents, major scratches and such other then that youll be good to go.

yeah pretty much man, also make sure the clutch doesnt slip and the tranny isnt notchy or anything

Cool got it, its because ive had a lsj sc and im not too familiar with the tc one, and i dont want to be lost. If it does have the gms1 is that a big difference to one not having that.?

Not really if you are going to stay in stock form. If you plan to do a turbo swap like a ZFR or something then it would be nice to have them if you plan to run high boost.
