New Cobalt SS Owner WNY
Hi everyone!
Picked up a 2006 Cobalt SS/NA with 150k on the body and 90k on the motor for 2400 dollars last week... What a steal! The engine runs flawlessly but the body surely needs TLC however in upstate NY it is just too cold now to do any serious work. So unfornately I will have to wait until this summer to restore the car to her former beauty. I Will be looking for a lot of spare parts for example the SS/SC spoiler and front and rear lips. I am possibly wanting to go SC'd as well but that's far off from now haha
This dark purple color is going to make it really hard to get parts :/

Im in wny to welcome to the cobalt club
Hi there I'm josh i just recently purchased my new Cobalt ss/sc with 79,000 miles for 8grand i live in Wny swell i had a cobalt LS before this one so i know how to do a lot of work on these cars id maybe like to meet up in the spring with some other cobalt owners and hangout

That would be awesome Inbox me for my number i love my lsj engine its just a b**** trying to warm it up in the winter i let it run for almost 20-30 mins before i got to work each morning i guess thats how i know my pump is still working lol Does anyone know anywhere to get fe5 suspension besides Crate engine depot

Ha nice my buddies family owns shogun out in amherst plus my whole family went to UB. I am from Rochester, originally from Henrietta moved to Greece and now in Webster hah. Hell yeah man deff gotta get up **** I go to buff just to get Jim's Steakout!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! I am in Rochester and deff trying to meet up with other Cobalt owners and maybe ones who can help me work on this blasted car. I ever did want to turbo or sc I wouldnt even know where to begin 
I wouldnt have this problem if I bought the SS/SC that was for sale for the same price two days later on craigslist

Thats awesome and yeah just bolt-ons for now I wont try to go fi until later in the summer. And really? How much is cheap?
