New to Cobalts here

Hello all, bought a 2009 Cobalt SS a couple of months ago and having a blast with it. Bought it from a local guy here in town and he has done the basics to it, intake and exhaust. Sounds good and drive really good. Hope to learn more about these cars here on the forum.

It's turbo charged I believe, still learning between turbos and superchargers.

turbos are just the piece on the supercharger that spins, everyone knows that.

Thanks for the info, I feel like a total noob for not knowing. Guess I'll have to spend some time looking under the hood. Like I said, I'm new to sc/tc cars.

I just went out an looked and it looks like theres some brambos on there. Since these are also chevy's does anyone know if Cadillac CTS-V 6 pots could be swapped on? I like to upgrade brakes before I go for power.

I noticed the Brembos on the front when I bought the car, and that was 1 of my buying points when I was looking at the car.

Nah remember cars brake with a 70% front to 30% back brembos on the back aren't needed. I'm looking at making 450+whp on my car and I haven't upgraded my brakes

I think the SC models are the best. there's too many turbo issues and the superchsarger is a nice talking point. lots of cars hvae turbos now and so when I tell people i have a supercharger its more intrersting. a lot of subarus have turbos and they arnt that fast.
