New to cobaltss.net

Hey everyone,

I wanted to join this forum in the hopes of finding some people around me. I drive a redline and the nearest one is about an hour away. I'm hoping there are some SS's around here and can point me in the right direction of a shop to get work/tuning done. I am stationed at fort Belvior (Mt. Vernon/Alexandria VA area).

My car is stock right now with the exception of intake, ZZP 2.5 resonated catback, and asst visual mods. I've had it for less than a year.

Thanks guys.

More dmv people I love it! As far as a tuning shop... Lol good luck I wind up doing my own work and I'll be doing my own tuning soon as I purchase hp tuners since there literally isn't really anyone around here who can.

That's what I was afraid of Lolz... I really want to get a stage kit or something, I just want some safe reliable tuning.

Thanks all, here are some pics. I know it's not a Balt and I normally stay on the redline forums and Facebook but I'm trying to meet some more people.

Rico, I just realized your location says San Antonio! I was just down there for five weeks and got to cruise with three other IRLs. Too bad we couldn't link up and drive.

I'm glad a lot of other people like the looks, not too many people use yellow as an accent color and some people hate on it. I think it makes it look different.

BennyHHR is located in VA and is supposed to be very good. However I've been trying to contact him...for llike the last year or so...with no luck so I gave up

You can always do a canned tune from ZZP, trifecta tune, or a remote tune but for the remote tune you'll have to buy HP tuners lol

Thanks guys. I honestly didn't join over here sooner because I got the impression from other places that the people on this forum weren't very friendly. Guess I was wrong! Lol

So, how do you quote multiple posts in one message?

Theres a multiquote button next to the quote button. Hit multiquote until you got all the ones you wanna quote then quote on the last one

There are trolls on here but were all in it for the fun of it. Honestly there isnt a great deal of hostility on here

I guess that's true of any forum or FB group. There is always somebody that wants to act like a douche or make ridiculous claims, then **** gets hostile.

Yellow is my favorite color and it is definitely different. Most people use blue or red. I figure it will look good as long as I don't take it too far and make my car look like a bumblebee.

Thanks for the tip on the multi quote. I think I got it.

Cool haha. Ive seen black with green on an RL before that looks dope too.

And true on the forum thing. There is no absolutes in the people you find on any forum, unless that forum is dedicated to being nice or something lol. People from all walks of life have all types of cars. But overall here its all fun and games. If you dont give someone a reason to flame you then youre good haha
