No but an abused engine in a 8 year old car means loss of power.

Think before you stupid

dirty engine bay = abused engine = loss of hp

making assumptions and calling others stupid for it

definitely not ricer math

Reading comprehension obviously escapes you, you may want to re-read op's post on the first page

ah i get it

kinda beat up (definitely not referring to the exterior or interior parts of the car) = loss of hp

id definitely bet money that op has fully evaluated the mechanical integrity of the engine and is referring to it as being "beat up".

come on now. sorry for insulting you, but you know nothing without a early mileage and late mileage compression / leak down test to compare. everything else is speculation. even a dyno.. a real dyno that is

If your so stuck on winning the internets you can have it. Sorry to speculate on something that is painfully obvious

And yes a leakdown test to verify the actual condition of the engine is what I would recommend

not trying to win. you call me stupid for not speculating. i say, why speculate in the first place? especially if it is so painfully obvious

to the op, good luck with it. lsj's are resilient little motors. youd be suprised some of the stupid **** they can live through. especially in stock / s2 form.

Seriously, stop the hate. I don't know how accurate the dyno was.

kinda beat up (definitely not referring to the exterior or interior parts of the car) = loss of hp
And the car is beat up on the interior and exterior. It has a big dent in one side and looks pretty sad. The engine has been rebuilt and is super clean, though.

I know that. I messed around on a truck page for a while, but it wasnt that bad. However, I left Diesels of New England because of all the hate.

Get that bay clean with some degreaser and a power washer. Will look a lot better, and makes it easier to find leaks, work on, etc and junk.

no hate from.me. but someone prolly did lie to.you sadly. if that dyno was true and accurate tho youd be a bad ass lol. regardless, theres a ton of info on this site! from someone whos learned, find out exactly whats done to the car, like injectors pulley size and tune, then get cooling mods. cuz from that pic you can see you dont have an opt b kit. which helps alot.
