Cool New here, but from other forums

Hello guys. I have been "lurking" here in this forum for a while now. Never thought of joining since I was in 1 a chevy cobalt forum already, but the chevycobaltforum was dead, so I moved to Yourcobalt. I still hang around there, but I decided I should join here. So, a little about my self. I am getting a degree in automotive tech. I know a little so far about being a mechanic. Wouldn't really know how it feels unless I get in the field. I am from Los Lunas New Mexico, and drive my cobalt LT 07 daily. I am pretty young for a mechanic. im turning 20 next month. Anyways, enough about me. Let me show you my car!

This is what it looked like in early 2011

Is it just me or does it look like nothing new has happened since early 2011?

Only difference I see is you got rid of the ugly door guards, or do you only have them on one side?

Oh and welcome~

Well, I was going to put an cat-back exhaust and a CAI in it until i hit a curb while turning, bending my control arm and damaging the axle. All my hard earned money went on that. so i had to put off the mods and bought what i really needed. but i have earned enought so far that i could get a cat-back and maybe a cai in a month from now. as of now, im jobless, but doing odd jobs like working on yards or helping people with there cars.

and thanks for the welcome

Ive heard mixed reviews of those, so I wasnt sure about them. What are the top springs for lowering and ride? (if anyone knows) I dont want it too low since im deciding on a ground effect/body kit next year. Looking at the RK sport kit.
