New here and to cobalts. Need some help!

Bought my first car last week, 2006 chevy cobalt ss. It's in pretty good condition besides the paint and has a few good aftermarket parts already. Gonna be here a lot cause I suck at finding compatible genuine parts and will need advice for my build.

Oh yeah, I need help finding the driver information center for my car most importantly but also a good radiator that wont scrape (I'm on 2 inch lowering springs), not too pricey exhaust system cause right now its stock, and smoked angel eye headlights bc the previous owner spray painted the headlights and it's horrible. Thanks in advance!

The DIC is on your dash under the tachometer. You should never have a problem with your radiator scraping because it is protected by the front subframe. Likewise the stock intercooler also shouldn't be an issue. I'm guessing what you are seeing is an aftermarket front mount heat exchanger for the water to air intercooler system. Going back to stock would be your cheapest option.

Exhaust wise, are you looking for sound or performance?
Sound, just change the muffler. Performance, will be pricey unless you piece it together.
But what it's your budget? Pricey for some is cheap for others.

Welcome!
Looks like the previous owner also spray painted the taillights.
I can help you get some better ones. Got a Black Friday sale coming up

I'm missing the 2 buttons to the right of the steering wheel next to the head unit. The whole little plug in thing bc the previous owner lost em installing a custom interior kit smh

Well I'd like a moderate sound, nothing too loud bc I dont wanna **** all my neighbors off leaving at 6am but something that sounds nice, is fun and increases performance somewhat would be nice. I couldn't find any for my supercharged model, not sure if 2.4l systems would work but I just want to be safe. This is all a first time experience for me.

Yeah he really thought it was a good idea I guess. The taillights look okay and are visible but I really need headlights bc I cant even see 15ft ahead of me at night even with the brights on. What do you recommend?

I'm the taillight guy meaning I don't make/sell headlights but I think most here will tell you to buy some retrofits or make them yourself. TRS (theretrofitsource.com) is your friend

Go through YouTube and look up some videos. How it sounds. I would start from there. Once you see or hear something that you like, Google that part.
