I have 2006 Chevy cobalt ls. It won't start. My mechanic plug in the diagnostic machine last night and it had a code u0101. I wanted to know if anyone else has this problem with there Chevy cobalt. Please help me
From the little research I've done, u0101 is:
Trouble Code: U0101 (2.2L L4 VIN F Auto)
Lost Communication With Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Trouble Code Conditions:
Voltage supplied to the modules is in the normal operating voltage range. The vehicle power mode requires serial data communication to occur. The DTC U0001 does not have a current status.
Possible Causes:
■A poor connection at the inoperative module may cause this code to set.
■An improperly powered module may cause this code to set.
