Hello all. I've been gathering answers to questions from here since I bought my car back in July last year. I figured I should join & start a thread to introduce myself. I'd do the same for my car but I don't have any pics of it yet. I just can't ever seem to make the time lol. It's a black on black 09 Cobalt SS with 40K miles. It's a rebuilder I picked up pretty cheap & figured I'd fix up some. It has no real mods except an annoying 3" SS exhaust with a fart can on the back the previous idiot installed that I want to replace. It also has no wing or emblems or rear bumper cover airdam thing. Actually the only way to tell it's an SS if you don't know the cars is the SS emblems on the seats.
I actually have been considering selling it or trading it in so I dunno how long I'll be around lol. But I've always been a helpful member on every forum I've joined & if I have an answer to someone's question, I'd be more than happy to help when I can. I'm pretty knowledgeable with cars, just new to these cars.
This isn't my first turbo car. I've owned a 1986 Porsche 944 turbo, an 89 Mustang I swapped in a turbo 2.3 from a T-Bird (still the quickest), an 86 Buick Skyhawk with a turbo 1.8 & a few other cars.
