Well I joined several months ago and now that life has settled down I have time to introduce myself. Though my username says maxwell, my name is Kevin. I'm 35 and work as a tech at a hole in the wall Goodyear store. I live in Davenport, FL which is just south of Kissimmee. I was a tech for a Chevy dealer from 1999 to 2009 so I got to enjoy new Cobalt SS models as they came off the truck. I finally got one of my own last August. I searched hard and found a Yellow 2007 SS supercharged with 84,000 miles. It needed some work but was clean and I can handle GM engineering.
So far I have changed the purge solenoid, vacuum lines, intercooler coolant pump, sway bar links and bushings, shocks and struts with crate engine depots YYZ package, shift boot and knob and a full tune-up. I plan to get her into factory shape and keep her that way. Sadly the previous owner bent three of the wheels so I have that to deal with. But its not everyday you get to own a yellow Cobalt SS.
I hope I can help around the forums and if anyone needs it feel free to ask. I have been waist deep in GM Performance cars from the Corvettes to the HHR SS and even changed out more than my far share of Duramax injectors.
