Hello new member and i have an 06 chevy cobalt ss 2.4L I just added subwoofers with a line converter to leave in the stock head unit it does have the premium pioneer sound system in it also and after about ten minutes the DIC told me check charging system/battery safety mode what could be the cause it has a brand new alternator I noticed the dash lights started to dim too on bass notes could I have ruined the alternator or battery or both and if so how can I stop it
