Hi guys, recently picked up a 06 Cobalt ss, G85 package, recaros, stock except AEM intake. Low mileage, 86k. Car is in rough shape, I joined the forums to gain some knowledge and learn a bit about the car as I decide what to do. I always loved these cars, really wish it was the turbocharged since I owned a 2011 regal with a similar motor.

Hi guys just joint today I have an 08 black SS 470WHP little monster

 

I think I can be valuable to this site as I own my on mechanic shop and I have done everything on my car my self (except tuning)

The AEM came with the car and I do not have the stock intake. Why do you think I should ditch it?

 

The AEM flows worse than the stock and it is very likely messing up your fuel trims

 

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I do love being able to hear my supercharger. I'll do some research and see if there is an intake that actually shows some gains.
