New member from CT 2010 Cobalt SS

Hey everyone just wanted to check in and say hello to all. Just picked up my first turbo vehicle which is this 2010 Cobalt SS. It is my new daily driver and I love this thing. I see some members on here have a similar stable as I do. I traded in my 04 Silverado SS AWD for this to save on gas but the weekend vehicles include an 03 Z06, 78 Z28 and 09 Harley Nightster. I am looking forward to talking to you all and I am very much looking forward to getting the Trifecta Tune I have been reading about.

If you're in CT then get tuned in person by 09cobaltss1. Don't waste you time and money on trifecta. Trifecta is a last resort option for guys that live in the boonies with no good tuners around. Pm john he lives in CT forget which town though. I think he was about 20-30 minutes away from me when I lived in hamden.

Be careful with modding that Turbo Cobalt... it becomes addictive and with a relatively small $um the T/C can become quite the monster

I am new to the Cobalt world so all advices are welcome. The goal with the Cobalt is to retain stock down to OEM air filter with no bolt ons, but have a tune with some extra boost when needed. The Trifecta appealed to me the most for the reason of extra boost with a push of a button. Also I work for a GM dealer and the car is still under power-train warranty. I may be able to pull a couple strings out of warranty as well so keeping the tune hidden from the tech 2 is also appealing. All advices welcome. Thanks guys

Welcome to the dark side who wants to start the betting on when he starts buying bolt ons? I give it a month after trifecta/hp goes on.

Haha! The mod $ is going towards an A&A super charger kit on the LS6! Bet on me for tune only!

BTW what is the percentage of HP loss from crank to wheels on these cars?

In just another thread (updated today) they were saying about 8% on the manual, only thing FWD is good at, low power loss.

nice car. black ftw!

that vette is sick, what's done to it?

And don't go with Trifecta, get HPtuned in person. 09cobaltss1 will take care of you.
