hi everyone. new member here who just finally found a ss/tc and just had to trade in my 07 cobalt lt! its an 09 cobalt ss.40k, victory red with almost every option including floor mats and pedal covers! according to your site only 114 pedals and 37 floor mats! anyways im pretty sure I have a trifecta? (I do see everyone's opinion of that) tune because I turned off cruise on my way home from work and the car took off! is there anyway to find out for sure like a vin check from Vince? other than that as far as I can tell it has a zzp charge pipe and the previous owner painted the interior trim red (gotta fix that!) and cut off the original muffler from the $800 exhaust.. sorry but I hate fart cans! thanks for the awesome site! Going to come here often!
Thanks everybody. Northern Illinois. McHenry county. I will post pics as soon as I get some. Just bought it couple weeks ago and weather has been crap. Just like they handle in snow! lol! would like to add programmable display b1ut I should probably get winter tires first! nice choice for my winter vehicle. oh well...couldn't pass it up
Welcome to Cobalt SS! If you want the build sheet for the new cobalt just send me a PM with the VIN. I can also look up any remaining warranty on the 09 id you send the mileage.

I thought it could be mine from Moline I traded in for my subie, but I didnt run with a "fart can" and didnt have red painted interior unless he means the STOCK red/black seats. Saw some little kid driving it today for the first time since I traded it and he flipped me off for looking at it when I passed
no qcbalt...just ran my vehicle info again. Found out it was delivered to Rockenbach Chevy in Grayslake in late 08 and dealer traded to my dealer...Harvard Chevy and sold new. I guess it has been in my area the whole time. Almost bought an STI years ago but worked at a Subaru dealer and didn't like all the manual trans problems we were getting back then. They never updated anything so after some "spirited" drives they came back broke again. Havent touched a Subaru in a while. Figure they gotta be better by now. LOL I have family in Moline though.
I havent seen many complaints on 9th gen trannys at least, hopefully i'm in the clear haha. Anyways welcome to the forum! sometime whenever you get into town we can meet up, usually meets every month around here. Also have some old parts laying around lol
